Minehead Shop

The shop are looking for more volunteer staff to help run the busy retail department at Minehead who are responsible for supplying quality service to our customers as well as supplying stock to other shops.

Bishops Lydeard Station Duties

The new Stationmaster at Bishops Lydeard is looking for volunteers to help run the southern terminus of the West Somerset Railway. Duties include looking after our many customers as they board and alight from the Railways trains, helping to man the safety barriers when trains arrive and depart as well as the amny other jobs which keep the busy station operating.

Quantock Belle Dining Train

The Quantock Belle luxury dining train operates on the West Somerset Railway on most Sunday lunchtimes from April until October, serving roast lunches on the northbound journey from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and cream teas on the return leg later in the day. The train is staffed entirely by volunteers, and we are always delighted to hear from anyone who is interested in working with us, either behind the scenes in the kitchen or bar area, or as dining or wine stewards serving meals and drinks to our lunch guests.
