You will drive under instruction for approximately 10 miles over part of the beautiful West Somerset Railway.
Whilst others have their turn in the driving cab you will travel in the restored Goods Brake an and see the ralway from another perspective.
It is planned for a Class 33 heritage locomotive to be in use for this course however if for any reason it is unavailable, a suitable alternative will be provided.
This course includes your packed lunch from the Turntable Cafe.
You must be 18+ to take part in the Diesel Engineman Course.
You must be physically capable of climbing up or down a vertical ladder (1.5 metres maximum).
