Perhaps you remember daily travel from the bus station over the decades or enjoyed vintage bus days when visiting vehicles recreated the scene with free rides on routes around Taunton? Well, lament those times no more and put Sunday 2 June in your diary. Return to the bus station in Tower Street for one day only (courtesy of Taunton Town Council, Somerset Council and NHS Somerset), as we regenerate the friendly vibrancy for which these Taunton events were known.
There will be a set of free bus services around the area, using a range of vehicles from the 1930’s, through to more modern times. There will be a 20 minute frequency service running out to the West Somerset Railway at Bishops Lydeard.
Your one-off opportunity to take the bus, once again, from Taunton Bus Station around the town or out into the country. There's a great variety of vehicles to choose from, authentic routes for enthusiasts and destinations to suit the whole family.
